Features of St Andrews Village

Our facility is located in the quiet suburb of Hughes in the ACT within close proximity to Woden, which is home to a large shopping centre, The Canberra Hospital, National Capital Private Hospital, the Hellenic Club and many other facilities. There is a bus stop at the door, and many organised outings to the local area in the Village bus.

Our beautifully landscaped gardens have been specifically designed to ensure the safety of our residents, and provide a sanctuary without leaving the safety of your home.

At St Andrews Village you are treated as an individual. Our philosophy of person-centred care means that we get to know you so that we can tailor your environment and ensure you feel safe and supported in your home.

A podiatrist and physiotherapist visit our facility regularly, and an aged care nurse practitioner is on site weekly to provide additional access to specialist medical advice. Individually controlled reverse cycle air conditioning is available in some rooms at an additional cost of $35 per month.

We offer ageing in place, which means that in most cases residents can remain in a familiar environment as their care needs change.

Respite accommodation is also available by contacting CarersACT directly on 02 6296 9900 or www.carersact.asn.au.
